EOIs will be used to help fill available positions within teams, with placement subject to team numbers, age groups, competition structures and available positions. 

Existing FC Birrarung Players

2027 registrations are now open for existing FC Birrarung players.

If you are a current FC Birrarung player, you should have received an email with your individual registration invitation and registration link.

Registering early helps the club with important planning for the 2027 season, including:

• Team formation and player numbers

• Coach and team manager appointments

• Training and match-day planning

• Competition entries

• Field and facility allocations

• Supporting player pathways across the club

If you are an existing player intending to return in 2027, please complete your registration as soon as possible.

We are welcoming Expressions of Interest for our Men’s and Women’s senior teams for the 2027 season.

Joining FC Birrarung means being part of a growing, community-focused club with opportunities to play competitive football, develop your game, meet new people and be part of a strong club environment.

Our 2027 fees are yet to be finalised. However, the information below provides a useful indication of the expected costs for the 2027 season based on current fees and anticipated club requirements.

FC Birrarung is committed to keeping our fees affordable for all.

Fees cover Football Federation of Australia and Football Victoria registration and insurance, City of Melbourne facilities and ground fees, referee fees, coach development, equipment and administration costs.

FC Birrarung has a long history of supporting U7 to U20 players who may otherwise not be able to play soccer. The fee paid by sponsored players amounts to the costs charged by Football Victoria, Football Australia and insurance.

Sponsorship registrations are in person only and are not available online. Please come along to one of our registration days to sign up or contact us to organise a meeting.

Registering for sponsorship will take place at the pavilion in February. Player families must provide an Australian Healthcare Card and Australian ID card. We also appreciate your assistance throughout the season.

2026 sponsorship fees: $100 (likely to be similar in 2027)
